ARTES GRÁFICAS LUIS PÉREZ was founded in the year 1933 on the initiative of Sr Luis Pérez Poveda, a bookbinder whose workshop was located at number 47 Calle Palma in Madrid.

A few years later his sons Rafael and Manuel entered the company. It was at this time that the company was expanded following the acquisition of a complete press, new premises, machinery, new staff, etc. Work was carried out simultaneously at both premises, in the above-mentioned workshop, and in the new premises at number 82 Calle San Bernardo.

The company moved to its current location, number 33 Calle Algorta, in the year 1975, where it has two floors totalling 1,000 square metres each, with a direct truck access and inter-floor communications via a platform elevator.

It can be said that Artes Gráficas Luis Pérez, S.A. is one of the oldest industries in the trade in Madrid, as it has been providing continuous services for sixty-seven years.

At present, the company is run by the grandsons of the founder, the third generation, and is fully equipped with the latest technologies in both pre-printing, printing and binding and handling.
